We are not the Men's basketball team and we are not close to them. Hawaii is nothing but a afterthought in the women's Volleyball community and this is nothing but a sad attempt at being relavent. Unless you can provide proof of positive test by the UW volleyball team I suggest you shut your mouth. You have proven nothing but nonsense. Get a !!!!###$$$!!!ing l8fe. We all know how athletes congregate, was there any contact tracing performed. Probably one of those who do not even wear a face mask. Have not gotten vaccinated, also. Wonder how the UW Athletic Department would feel if any athlete, or even staff member, on any of the other teams comes down with Covid due to playing in this Sub-Regional with UW. Please provide the aricle or be quiet because there might be a lawsuit happening. If you cannot provide facts then get off of the porch we are done here. Hawaii at one time was prominent but they are not anymore, there time has passed. |

I am only thinking about each and every athlete and staff member on Brown's, MSU's, and Hawaii's teams. There health and well-being takes president here. Not the Sub-Regional. Hope they all come through this Sub-Regional in good health, that is all that matters now. But what has been said, guessing UW fans, at least some of them, think winning and playing is more important then health and well-being of the athletes participating in this Sub-Regional.

Desparate teams come with desparate measures. Please provid proof. Guessing you would feel very happy if an athlete contracted Covid from playing in this Sub-Regional, and god forbid, dead from Covid. Thinking you would be overjoyed, just so that this Sub-Regional could be played. Why don't you go back to Hawaii? We have done nothing wrong and frankly you sound like a broken record. We will annilate your team. |

No one said that the Washington volleyball team has been affected by this, and I'm sure that the athletic department made sure to contact trace and test the players in the athletic department. The UW fans want you to give more than just a hunch about why this would even call for something like the team forfeiting the match. Do you have evidence to show that the UW volleyball team has been affected by this? Do you have evidence to show that the UW athletic department has been irresponsible? The Hawaii football team had positive Covid cases as well, but no one was necessarily calling our department irresponsible, and our other athletic teams got tested and continued to practice. Please focus on the Hawaii vs. Mississippi State match tomorrow. Mahalo |

Washington is ranked #9 in vaccination rate, Hawaii is #21 State Vaccination Rankings . Looks like UW should be more worried about the Hawaii team. |
