I like the "first time to the dance" story for Mississippi State. Its also pretty cool that this is the first ever meeting of the two programs. Here's to the two coaches setting up Mississippi State first ever trip to the Islands for one of our pre-conference tournaments next year. A "re-match" if you will. I think that would be awesome and I know the MSU players would be excited to come to Hawai'i. Some of them thought they were and were bummed when they found out they were going to Washington instead. |

Yeah I’d guess that too if they were going on vacation. But the way Logan put it made it sound like there was an actual quote out there from players or coaches saying that they’d rather go to Hawaii. I question this because I’m sure they’d really prefer to stay closer to home and limit travel. Their coach didn’t complain during her interview but made note that she was surprised that they were being sent so far away when regionalization is something the NCAA goes by with teams who don’t receive a seed. |
