LOL, I have no problem with balanced and constructive criticism. I’m all for it and I’ve shared my concern all through out the season. That is not what I’m talking about. What I’m talking about are the posters here that have talked down and been demeaning of the coaching staff and players all season and especially after the loss to UCSB. Hawai'i won because the team won. Amber is a sparkplug. Sky is the mom. And BVS is the glue. I agree. The only way the Wahine can win, is playing as a team. Amber to me is the energy, like the energizer bunny. Sky is Sky, always upbeat, like a sunny day. BVS is the generator, making everything go. Riley, like it or not is the glue, without her this Wahine team would not be complete. Lang, of course, is the conductor, like a symphony conductor. Putting all these pieces together to make wonderful music. Of course, there is Ikenaga, the child, always learning and improving. If any of these pieces starts playing as an individual, the Wahine cannot win, and will not win. They all have to do their part for the Wahine to win, as a TEAM!!!!! |

OK, who can explain to me what I saw tonight?
I got there in the third set and Hawaii was just doing anything they wanted with Mississippi State. And then in the fourth set Hawaii did not look good at all. And then in the fifth set it started kind of close, but then Hawaii just took over.
How many teams was I watching there? Why were the sets so different from each other?
