So next, explain how a poor moment of one player who isn’t even on the court right now leads to the conclusion that the team is entitled and fake? Idk man, I watch your team often, and they give me a bad vibe. Not sure what you want me to say. In my first post I literally said "I don't know why". It's a number of things re: on court demeanor that rub me the wrong way. Not like you quoting me and responding on a volleyball forum is gonna make me be like "Oh wow I love how defensive their fans are, I should like this team!" See that’s the thing about women’s sports- people love to call out the on court demeanor of woman athletes. They show their emotions and they’re called arrogant, cocky and entitled while their male counterparts are praised for their fiery passion and confidence. They don’t show enough emotion and they’re suddenly uninvested or uninterested, but men are admired for their poise. Who cares if they give you bad vibes? Especially if you don’t even know why. |

A white man calling out the character of a women’s team led predominantly by Black women is rooted in more than just sexism, but glad that point got across at least. Talk about bad vibes. |
