This seems completely misplaced- and I’m usually highly critical of committee choices. Both Illinois and Kentucky were going to be in the tournament and Kentucky seeded regardless of what the committee did with other teams. All eligible Big 10 teams are in the tournament- what, exactly, is your point here? I think it’s pretty obvious that he/she is claiming the SEC may not have deserved 6 seeds if their champion is being absolutely waxed on their home court to the 7th best B1G team in the tournament. I have no opinion on it, but that’s what the point clearly seems to make. Maryland got robbed. |

BIG 10 is asserting their dominance. Wonder how the committee is feeling about putting six teams in from the SEC now? This seems completely misplaced- and I’m usually highly critical of committee choices. To be fair, South Carolina got into the tournament with a horrid recent record and a 0.500 win percentage partially based upon the strength of their oddball win against Kentucky. Kentucky getting shellacked at home weakens the logic that SCar was deserving. I think OP was just generally bragging about BIG 10 and not getting at that but the performance of SEC teams does lend to an argument that SEC teams were overseeded/overheralded by RPI. |

99% of PTW went with Kentucky. It seemed like a no-brainer. Illinois is on the right part of the rollercoaster right now. Wonder if they can sustain this level of play. I’d love for them to take out Nebraska. But it’s very unlikely that Illinois catches another team playing the bad AND Terry have another career night. |
