I forgot the gophers had 10 aces back in August. Baylor’s passing was probably just feeling some first match jitters because I know they are a good passing team. Service game will have to be on again.
Landfair played six rotations that weekend right? Wasn’t Kilkelly unavailable? Kilkelly, Wenaas, Miyabe will be a better passing unit than McGraw, Wenaas, Landfair. If McGraw is able to play that’s great(!), but I guess for now I’m going to choose to continue to have confidence in Kilkelly. She had a good weekend, particularly against Stanford.
Pass well and swing aggressive, and I think we stand a decent chance. We had our chances back in August and have come a long way both mentally and physically since then.

Ah, twitter. You would think there would be a more official announcement with more details/explanation. There was the same picture on the NCAA volleyball facebook page. Guess actual updates to the website are lagging behind social.  |

Well I didn't really get my $6.99 out of ESPN+ but glad its on ESPNU. Will be a good match!

Yes, but I didn't quite understand why it came up on my ESPN+ schedule, could it be that they are also streaming those matches? I guess I'm not tech savy enough. I have twitter blocked (security) and very limited access on FB. That's why I come here. |

If I remember correctly, Van Der Mark was the difference maker in the pre season match, Gophers had a hard time stopping her. This should be a good match up, both teams have grown so much since Sept. Can't wait, go Gophers!

Can't wait, go Gophers! Yeah she went off. 14 kills and 7 blocks, a lot of which felt like they came at crucial moments. She’s also a very emotionally intense player and I think it got to some gophers’ heads a bit. Hopefully that would be less of a problem at this point in the season. Play loose and have fun! 🥳 |

Two hours slotted for each match. There will be a lot of missed action early in matches. I will selfishly hope Louisville handles Florida quickly.
Would be nice to see Thurs/Sat regionals and Fri/Sun regionals and play everything in the evening.

I think Minnesota is more disciplined and better trained though you can’t deny the cumulative star power and productivity from Pressley and Skinner. I predict fireworks during this match and agree with the implication by nellynel that this match will be decided at the pins. |
