It said that Pitt won 3-1 to Purdue on the bracket. But Purdue was put in the semi bracket. The joke is that Yale complained about the poor production of the VB selection show, and now they should also be upset. |

Despite the soul-crushing loss, Otec still had 25 digs in 4 sets. I swear if she doesn't get more than Honorable Mention All-American this year, I'm going to #$@%ing riot! But what did she pass today? A 2.356 according to the third-party company hired to stat this match, OOM (Otec Only Metrics™) |

Pitt meeting Texas in the semis if Texas wins today. Should be a good one with 2 former Hawaii setters going at it against each other. Rooting for Pitt to take it all the way! This would be a fun match up, IMO. Hopefully Texas gets through Nebraska and makes it happen If it does happen, I’m rooting for whichever team wins the match to take it all the way. 😉 |

Congratulations to Pitt! Incredibly balanced team with good arms at every position. Fairbanks (ThE fResHmaN) was impressive. She’ll have a wonderful career. LMM went off. Proud of this Purdue team. On a different night they might be going to a final four. With that said, looking forward to seeing how a whole new Boiler team is constructed. Looking forward to some new additions, and dare I say departures? Wouldn’t be surprised to see one of the outsides transfer, the lack of trust/development there has been horrible, sugar-coated with a “three-headed monster” nickname. My only hope is that Schermerhorn NEVER touches that Libero jersey, but knowing Dave… Otherwise I’m excited to see how the new team develops! 😌 |

The way the announcers are pronouncing her name matches the pronunciation guide on the Pitt roster page. So it seems the announcers are pronouncing her name correctly. Actually NO 🤯 I have known her since she was a freshman in high school and coached her in 17’s club and talked to her when she played at Mizzou - when it was said wrong at Mizzou, I asked her if she had changed it - she said it is MEN-uh - maybe someone will fix it before the National Semi’s 😢 Then someone needs Pitt's roster page to be fixed since it has her name as " men - AY " |

Good luck to Lek and Pitt in FF. 👏 BTW, Coach K broadcasts college volleyball matches and you would be amazed how many SID’s and Head Coaches cannot pronounce their players’ names correctly. 😳 When in doubt, ask the player (if you can). 😃 |
