I thought we could make it to the second page. idk if batenhorst will produce unless shes hot off the bat. sun on the other hand might have some fire against her former team…. i imagine would be very embarrassed tk be sitting on the bench against them as a super senior …. |

Calling it now, Nebraska 3-1 over the Longhorns.... TX was lucky to escape tonight! Or Texas has the talent and experience to get off the canvas and destroy a very good team If Texas was at a neutral site or on the road, I think Washington edges Texas. Washington was two or three plays from winning the third set. Texas is formidable and very athletic. Their front line is/can be as good or better than anyone. Nebraska has to win the serve and receive portion Saturday. Expect adversity and swings in momentum. The home crowd will be amped and push Texas throughout the match. Nebraska has to play really good floor defense, be balanced and opportunistic on offense with lower errors. Keep it in play and hopefully Texas can’t get great swings regularly. I’ll be a homer and pick Nebraska in five but it will be very difficult. Texas is experienced and extremely talented and has the home court and most of the pressure to deliver to the final four. |

So what’s the over/under on pages in this thread before the match even starts 35 ? If there’s enough trolling, the sky is the limit. We’ve seen a Sun mention. Bring it up in the right context, and we’ll have fireworks. Anything about Texas ruining the Big 8/12 has potential. Jerritt Elliott doing less with more has some legs in driving (unproductive) conversation. It feels like there’s a lot of fertile ground. Do we all have the want to? |

Texas in 4. Texas hates losing but you know what they hate more than losing, losing to Nebraska. It’s still a rivalry but Nebraska doesn’t have the goods that past squads have. Every Texas hitter is better at their position the middles could be a wash and that’s a maybe.
Nebraska doesn’t have the service pressure. Nebraska could make it interesting but after seeing Texas on the brink of elimination I feel they are going to come out focused and firing on all cylinders.

These two teams are in my top 3 this season. Plus they have players from State of Hawaii, so I just want both teams to have fun.

I love Big Red but if Texas does what Texas does, this could be a sweep. But I do think that Husker defense and serve will throw them off so I go Texas in 4. Though Nebraska definitely is the antithesis to Texas e.g. a stellar defense vs a stellar offense. So if Nebraska pulls it out I wouldn’t be shocked.
