It's comments like this.... And Wisconsin isn't on a mission having been to the final 4 3x in a row? Having been there 5 times total and not winning? Next we will be saying "one team wants it more" Only ONE team gets to claim to be "on a mission"! After that the choices are:
- "has work to do"
- "wants it more"
- "fulfilling God's Word"
- "get this done and get outta Dodge!"
- "is ready to kick some ______ butt"
- "is possibly prepared to win, but may not, due to unforeseen circumstances...but, on the other hand, may push it to 5 and surprise you"
- "What?!??! We WON??!"
I think it will come down to whoever can control the line of scrimmage... wait... what we talking about again?

This forum really does need more Mr. & Mrs. Smith references.

It's fine to say x team will win because they have better talent at y positions. But once you've made it to the FF, everyone is on a mission to finish the job.
As if Nebraska on the other bracket is saying " what a surprise, we are in the FF. Meh, we got a couple titles, we are good. "
You don't play at this level and not be on a mission.

Louisville press conference OMG that first question. DBK answered that very well. Oh...Tim Sullivan. That explains a lot.

Yep, I see a couple carpetbaggers in there. Shown here in their natural state. Let's go Louisville!!!!!
There are a lot of players from Illinois, you are right. And Indiana, Iowa, Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina and Utah and Minnesota and three other countries! Only one is from WI and everyone else ditched us. Tracking them down and now and taking names.

DBK in the strategy session "If you see Orzol and Loberg next to each other in SR, that's your target. Hit that spot and you win" On the other hand, Wis in in system all night if you can't hit that sweet spot and wins Unfortunately for Wisconsin, everyone seems to hit it time, after time, after time.

I can't tell if you're finally showing some angst against Izzy or if it's just still against Hilley and Barnes.

Unfortunately for Wisconsin, everyone seems to hit it time, after time, after time. , If KPS had a better option, he'd use it.Although I'd like to see Ashburn try If you sub in Izzy for Orzol across the back, then Orzol isn't serving, but Dana then serves for herself. Or Orzol stays in for her serve turn, but then Izzy doesn't serve. UW scored 14 points on Orzol's serve against UCLA (but only 1 against Minn). And 12 on Izzy's serve vs UCLA and 8 vs Minn. (As for the "time after time" part, that must account for their bad B1G record... oh, wait... but it accounts for them missing the tournament... oh, wait... well, it certainly accounts for their early exit... oh, wait...)

Chill, I'm a Badgers fan. But that tandem is weak in service reception. Sorry, I don't have any numbers to back that up, but it sure seems like they're aren't siding out as much (or at least not as quickly) when the serve hits one of that duo, or the seam.

Sorry, I don't have any numbers to back that up, but it sure seems like they're aren't siding out as much (or at least not as quickly) when the serve hits one of that duo, or the seam. Obviously. But just as obviously, those two bring other benefits by being on the floor, and you get a limited number of subs to use in a given set, and Sheffield uses them all. If teams were hitting that seam "time after time" and it was the flaw you want to make it out to be, then they would not be having the success they have. If you have a better suggesting for a substitution rotation, then lay it out for us. But don't just pick one aspect in isolation.
