… yes, that’s what I said. Explain... It's a unique brand of homerism: Nebraska homerism. I mean, it's fine to be biased and pick your team to win. But Nebraska posters are attempting to justify that bias with uninformed analysis (i.e. "I've never watched Pitt")? And saying things like "no one is favored" and "there aren't stats that matter anymore?" Come on. Not to mention how Nebraska posters seem to think a single game means all of their pin woes have gone away... Other fanbases at least attempt to be objective. There's just a level of humility not present here. 10-seed Nebraska could absolutely beat 3-seed Pitt. But that's a tall task, and the comments here don't reflect that. Again, just say you think Nebraska will win because you're a Nebraska fan -- don't come up with bad justifications.

Ok, I think NE will win because I'm an optimistic NE fan very much encouraged by the NE performance vs TX. I don't see that as a one game performance, but the continuation of improvement over several recent games. I am also acutely aware of regression, but no place for that now. It would ruin the pre-game fun.

Krause has been doing better with hitting percentage, I'll give you that. Her production against Texas was a bit of an outlier though. But Batenhorst hit .143 against Illinois, .100 against Campbell, and .083 against Purdue right before the tournament. She hit well against Florida State?

Texas was ranked higher than Pitt and likewise favored over Nebraska. Based on the outcome of that game, I think the Nebraska fans have good reasons to be optimistic about their team’s chances against Pitt. If a Nebraska fan told you before the Texas game that they were gonna ride their freshmen to a victory, you’d likely be up in arms like you’re now. Yet, there they are.

GBR is what matters! LOL Regardless I have perceived growth in both Krause and Batenhorst over the last few games, interspersed with instances of regression. Of the two, Krause has been the more consistent over the course of the season. Rodriguez has also been improving, although she was always very good. She is a phenom of late IMO. Kubik and Stivrins had a below par game vs TX stat wise, but not sure what that means or why. Not enuf knowledge of team strategy and execution, match ups, etc. to know what expectations for them were. Just an exuberant NE fan. GBR!

A couple of stats for those of you who put a lot of weight into statistics.
In the last 10 years, only one #1 seed has won the championship. (Stanford 2018) The average seed of the team that wins the Championship in the last ten years is 3.9

When are ya'll gonna wake up and just say Pitt is legit. Member-Meneh is an absolute baller. If she is not at least in the running for MOP that is just bias.
