Northern Colorado looks legit. I was a little bit bummed that we lost to them but seeing how well they played last night on the road they are a legit team with upperclassman. Still think we should have beat CSU, but hopefully we see improvements this week.

UNC home opener will be tomorrow night against South Carolina of the SEC and will play Arizona of the PAC 12 Saturday.
Quick thoughts: South Carolina and Arizona IMO are very raw athletic....both are very physical. South Carolina has played very good while limiting errors and hitting a high percentage. there are times that they havent been terminal in spurts. Our defense will need to be better against both teams.

So did anyone here accusing an assistant coach of abuse and a head coach of tolerating (or worse) the abuse make a report to the athletic department?
Or are these accusations just exaggerations without real evidence for them?

Alright... let's see if some time at home helps the Heels...
I'm hoping to see:
- Babic a little more settled and comfortable
- Defensive adjustments by blockers and the back row
- Better serve receive
- Having the players fight without showing too much frustration
Hoping Wurl is back to provide some calm and steady to the back row.

We did not see this team last weekend! High energy and clean. The block is getting set early and pressing over really well (7 blocks!!!). The back row is diving for plays. Exciting to see and the team just looks happier.
S1: UNC 25, SC 11
Hope we can keep this up!

Looked good but got complacent at the end and SC went on a 6-0 run thanks to some great serving by Claire Wilson when we had set point. Got the set win though.

Sweep! Won set 3 25-16.
Completely different than last week. In almost every facet. I liked that they had a plan for the setters today and stuck to it. We looked good today!
Any idea why Susan wasn’t there?

I was there. Susan was not on the bench. I will not comment on that further as the word on the street (gym) is that there were developments since last weekend and she is not with the team. We on here should let the process do it’s thing wherever that leads.
The team looked good and a lot more cohesive.
Block started working finally. Both setters were good but could have better location. Defense was better. Hitting was good but will get better with location improvements.
I am not a fan of 5-2 but it worked tonight. It’ll be interesting what happens tomorrow.
But overall the team looked way better. The chemistry and vibe in the gym was great.

Going to a fifth set against Arizona. Our serve receive has been very poor tonight. This is a match we definitely miss Wurl. Bad SR is leading to some truly bad decision-making.
Not a ton of energy in the gym tonight. Hope they can pull it out in the fifth set.

I’m just watching the live stats - can someone tell me what role Austin is playing right now? Looks like she’s played all 5 sets but hasn’t been set since the 2nd set?
