I felt like the 2023 thread was exactly what the Nebraska fan base needed to move on. I see now this thread is needed to continue to move through the grieving process in a healthy manner, while not bogging down the new thread with its messiness. All of us sports fans have been there. I'm just glad it's you guys going through this misery this year rather than me after your team upset mine last season. It's a nice luxury to be able to follow a program that's always going to be in the hunt year after year to some extent, so there's that to be grateful for. And I know the vast majority of you are. Thanks so much. Much luck to your team the rest of the way of the tournament. I for one, will be happy if Caffey and Akana wine the national championship. They both have special place in the hearts of MANY Nebraska fans. Now, if your team still had Jhenna Gabriel on the roster, there is NO WAY I would be ok with your team winning the title. LOL |

The silver lining is that I now get to focus on Brazil in the World Cup. Oh, no. I just read this. How are you? |

Too bad they don't have the Under Armor All Star match at Omaha Final Four (like past final four event was held on Friday). Give Husker fans something to cheer for watching our new setter. Ease the pain of losing in Louisville.

Ease the pain of losing in Louisville. That is difficult to do while virtually all the players are in school still. That's why they do it on Jan 2nd. They're all on winter break and can travel easily for it. |

I remember it being a great event and much fun to watch your future players and discuss their potential with other volleyball fans. Giving hope to those of us that our favorite team didn't make the final four. I enjoyed meeting the players coming to Nebraska and welcoming them and their families to Husker Nation. These turned into life-long friendships.
