Anyone have an update about Gabby McCaa? Is she coming for real? It's finals week at BC, so she's probably still wrapping up there.

Anyone get word about season ticket renewals yet? I saw something that said it was supposed to be sent out in by April, and… nothing yet.

A quick look in my email 'history', I see confirmation emails for VB season ticket purchase coming on 5/24/21, 6/1/20 (never used, of course), and 6/3/19. (I'm not sure why I don't see earlier years! ) So April would have been really early. We're getting into 'any day now' territory.

I always remember physical letters in the before time rather than emails; I don't know when Wisconsin switched primarily to electronic communication but that might be part of it.

I'd have to check, but I might have gotten a new computer around then, and failed to 'import' email history correctly. The old computer is in storage in the basement; if it were important, I could probably fire it up and see.

Since we can't attach images to this forum, I can only describe what I found:
"April 22nd - Information regarding NEW and existing season Volleyball tickets and parking coming by March*"
This was on supportthebadgers.com (or .org, whatever they use).

No new info here yet, but May 25 is the date they name for start of the "season ticket order period" last year.

IIRC, everything felt a bit pushed back last year compared to normal years, as it wasn't 100% clear if there would be fans in the stands for any of the sports.

The schedule announcement was late last year because they were trying to find a third team for the weekend that turned into playing Dayton twice. But I don't know that that delayed the ticket sales; tickets were sold around May 25 while the schedule wasn't announced unto June 8.

Somebody had commented in another thread that bump setting may be GG's best skill. After watching the U21 match today (still going on for a bit) I tend to agree. Usually nice touch and location, sometimes over pretty long distances. I was watching while working so didn't see every play, but her setting stood out.
On another note, I think Hilley is playing tomorrow (there's a separate Puerto Rico thread).

Looking forward to the future rounds when Turkey is actually challenged.

Gülce is wearing #21. Odds that she takes it as her Badgers jersey number? It’s free with Loberg’s graduation.
