On a tangent, Jenny Hazelwood returns to the coaching ranks as the new HC at Southern Miss. Could be an interesting opponent in the future for MS State and even Ole Miss.

Will Texas AC and LSU alum Tonya Johnson get a look for the Tigers next head coach? Is she even interested in trying on the head coach's hat again? I can't think of a better candidate among P5 assistants, but we know LSU AD is aiming for bigger fish than an assistant...

I can't think of a better candidate among P5 assistants, but we know LSU AD is aiming for bigger fish than an assistant... I have NO idea who they will go for, but I feel like they need to figure it out pretty quickly. Volleyball programs are making deals left and right with student athletes in the transfer portal. Not that LSU is a dream school for the top transfers, but without a coach, is anyone considering going there? They could miss out on a good get. Lord knows they just lost a lot of talent. They will need transfers to supplement the incoming class. |

Can’t believe it hasn’t been mentioned here… LSU is finished… what makes you think they're finished? I know her last outing as an HC wasn't great but it's also been 20 years since then. I'd give her two seasons before passing your final judgement. I think they are just meaning the coach has been announced. |
