Ole Miss at #7 surprises me 2 transfers ( one at setter) and one of the best recruiting classes they have ever had. I think they will continue to surprise some people. Good coaching makes everything a little better.

I’m actually shocked UK is at #1. Especially receiving 10 first place votes.
I thought the departure of Stumler and Skinner would tip things towards Florida, especially with the youngsters they have.

I think Florida will be better than Ky, if they fix their ball control. With incoming Cannan I think they will.
SC improved their ball control. Ole Miss lost a really good setter who could set OOS well. Honestly I think anything after the top 6 could go any direction. I think there may be a few surprises.

Mississippi State at 5 is an absolute joke. The fact Tennessee even got a first place vote is a joke and means either Skinner or Wise are INCREDIBLY petty.

Bummed to hear Bell won't be able to play.

I know that decision was very hard for her. Prayers for a full recovery and for her next steps into Adulthood.

Hmmm, I do think KY and FL will be battling it out for 1 and 2 but I don't think Auburn will finish next to last. I think they'll be higher. They've got some good recruits coming in. UofSC has been battling injuries so it'll be interesting to see how they do. I agree the ball control at L is going to help them tremendously. And I'm not sure TN will be at that 3 spot at the end of the season. Miss State probably deserves a bit more respect than this pre-season ranking shows. Can't wait for the season to get started!

TN is going to be dangerous. Just like they were last year.
Auburn is super young and inexperienced.
Miss State def deserves more respect.

I think losing Bell is a bit of a knock to the Vols. Not really devastating, as hey have a lot of good pieces. But they do seem a little thin, experience-wise, in the middle.
For Auburn not to finish last, they are either going to have to have a couple freshmen turn in SEC FOY-type performances and/or swing Rebekah Rath's arm off. They have exactly one hitter who has ever taken a swing in an SEC match, and only two who aren't freshmen (Tanton is listed as a sophomore, but ... she didn't play last year). Looking forward to see what they are going to look like!
