So as of today who is making the tournament? I would say Florida, Kentucky, Arkansas are locks Mississippi State is out for me and then Auburn, Tennessee are in for now... Georgia & LSU are big question marks.. they play each other this weekend in Baton Rouge and I say the winner of that series gets in

(*) denotes a team that 'travels' -- meaning they are not within 400 miles of the subregional they are placed to be in. These teams will usually have the most variability in their placement and which subregional they will end up in because of this. Austin Regional (1) Texas vs. Quinnipiac* Towson* vs. (8) Washington State* (4) Marquette vs. Wright State Northern Iowa vs. (5) UCF* (3) Oregon vs. Portland State Georgia* vs. (6) UNLV* (2) Ohio State vs. High Point Tennessee vs. (7) Western Kentucky Palo Alto Regional

LAST 5 TEAMS IN: Michigan, Utah, Colorado, Texas State, Georgia

FWIW, trojan's bracketology (closest thing you'll get to the bible here) has Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia and LSU all making the tournament right now.

being at TAMU doesnt help in watching the SEC but i felt this season as a whole we were down as a conference compared to last couple of years in terms of quality

Upper tier has come down and middle of pack about same. No real dominant/scary team this year. More parity as a conference but overall level of play down a notch.

Playing the same team back to back days certainly doesn't help the quality imo. Glad we're done with that nonsense after this weekend. It made sense for the covid year and maybe last season, but this season it was just lazy on the SEC's part.

Scheduling is horrible especially this final weekend of the regular season.
