Such sad news to start this 2022 thread. I was really looking forward to Leoniak being a huge force for the Hawaii team.

She honestly looked increasingly unhappy to me as the season went on. Best of luck to her wherever she lands!

WE are logjammed at opposite for the upcoming years. I wouldn't be surprised if Akana/Demirtas/Tiff/Annika and now possibly Alexander jumped ship as well. Now is the time to probably doing it, if they seek playing time.

I hope the other Europeans stay longer than one year. If the trend of one and done international players, Robyn might just give up on recruiting them. It takes so much work to get them here and if they don't stay long enough to try and make it work, it would feel like a waste of time.
Maybe UH need to recruit closer to the US. Go to Canada, South/Central America, Puerto Rico, etc...

makes me wonder if the akana speculation coming home is truer than i initially thought. maybe RAM clearly laid out the planned for the opps to only play 3ro and we'll see an exodus of those wanting to develop all around. hope Leo lands somewhere good!
