When you're a poor college athlete, 30k is 30k. There are only a handful of schools that could do it, but if they need a one and done middle, Amber is that good. The NIL money is apparently enough that a lot of players are opting to play their graduate seasons instead of playing professionally. Yep, but this is Hawai'i! If big NIL money is going to someone, it may be to a volleyball star! Also, if Igiede was going to leave, she would have already. Staying through a lost season, when nearly everyone else eventually got to play, and continuing there, means she was all in on the Wahine program, and why would that change now? . Plus all these players should be excited for who’s coming next year. It’ll be some great upgrade..

Not worried about Amber Igiede, she is being cared of by Bank of Hawaii. The Wahine Team, to a player, know that something very special is going to occur next year. For that reason, I do not see any of the players leaving. I keep thinking about the makeup of that 1987 National Championship Team, next year's team will be just like that one. I know, different era, but.... That team was undersized, but it had a lot of heart. They also played with something to prove. These Wahine players will want to prove that this match with LSU was a fluke, it was not who the Wahine Team is.

Yeah, when the Wahine 2023 thread gets created, after a bit of the pain subsides, or to do that, I have thoughts! Still, from 3-5 non conference to 17-1 to win the league outright, the 2022 Wahine had a good season, and that is a banner of which they and Wahine fans should be proud!

Hawaii will be lucky to be a top 25 team next year.. it wasn’t a fluke, they got beat by a better team!

There are no fluke games in the tournament. Everyone should bring their A game all the time. LSU came out as the better team, let’s not doubt their achievements.

Why would anyone transfer out because of a loss in the first round? take a look at Creighton and Washington also out in the first round. Hawaii had a good season, they will be even better next year, Amber is loyal to Hawaii, got the recognition at UH she deserves, on the collegiate national team, tops in the nation on hitting percent she’s in a good place!
If Annika can’t get kills in the big west I don’t see her going to any better school.

The SEC is proving to be a very good conference. Auburn just beat #14 ranked and 4th seed Creighton. Sad for the girls but hope this will fuel their fire and come back next year better than ever.

I hope Robyn stacks the pre-conference schedule, cause next year's Wahine Team will be ready for some High Level Competition. Even if it is all Top 10 competition, I do not really care. I strongly feel the Wahine Team will be ready, and willing to face those teams. But not only that, BEAT THEM!!!!

Hawaii got outplayed and beaten at a part of the game they’re supposed to be better at. Teams have to be on all the time in the NCAA’s because the margin for error is too narrow.

I don't think anyone saw USD as good as they are, and Pitt may have been seen to take more of a graduation hit than they actually did. UCLA needed Luper's return and a huge run at the end of the 4th to escape, and USC had Fields. I think all that, despite the lumps, helped prepare the Wahine for league play.

Love how optimistic you are! 🥰 The reason I am so optimistic, this Wahine Team showed HEART, something you cannot really teach. They were just missing a couple of pieces. Those pieces are coming next year, in the form of 4 players, Tali, Stella, Kennedi, and Jackie.
