I don't think Buzzerio will set over Akeo because I see the 6/2 staying and Akeo is a great setter. And from my up-close knowledge of Fisher, he's not going to "just give" any spot to any player; you have to earn your spot in practice. Setting did not keep Pitt from the title game, passing did. Oh absolutely, I think Akeo will keep her spot as well. I was just responding to the argument that none of setters were similar in their setting. and like I said, even if Buzzerio is more “similar” to Fairbanks, I don’t think she can run the speed Pitt wants to run

Well Nwokolo shouldn't be playing RS and Lockwood has been unable to earn the spot, I think Fisher should consider just giving that position to Buzzerio, she hits quite well from the back. The three setters don't strike me as very similar in technique and setting is what kept Pitt from the title game this year. completely disagree with pitts setting keeping them from the title game. The offense that pitt ran In transition was incredible last year and it’s VERY hard to execute. They lost to Nebraska because they couldn’t terminate OOS and Nebraskas serve got them there too much. Pitts setters did a good job imo Yep I agree. Setting wasn’t the big problem. They did a pretty good job executing a fast tempo 6-2. That’s a rarity. I think of some of the fast 6-2 offense from Oregon and USC that I would describe as a clusterf**k. Pitt’s 6-2 was legit tho. Passing was absolutely Pitt’s downfall. If your libero gets served off the court you don’t have much hope of advancing.

Per Pitt AC Kellen Petrone's twitter, another " Pitt is it" tweet. Football has Pat Signals, so I'm choosing to call this a Pet Signal. Not sure if it is a transfer, HS player committing, or even a Volunteer Assistant, but I continue to like the pace this staff has been on!

Didn't she sign in the early period - was she let go by ND? I thought you'd at least have to stay a year if you signed a NLI.

Huge commit. Rachel Jepsen flips from Norte Dame to Pitt. will her LDS sabbath if she observes conflict with the Pitt play schedule? Not sure but it would have conflicted with ND’s schedule too.

Huge commit. Rachel Jepsen flips from Norte Dame to Pitt. will her LDS sabbath if she observes conflict with the Pitt play schedule? I doubt it. Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy is a commandment in the church, but it is left up to individual members to determine what that looks like or means for them. The church obviously has their suggestions but at the end of the day it is more principle based rather than a checklist of do’s and don’ts.

Could the Sabbath be flipped where necessary? Serious question.
For example observed on Saturday with match on Sunday?

Could the Sabbath be flipped where necessary? Serious question. For example observed on Saturday with match on Sunday? Not really, at least not in my former religion. My old church encouraged you to sacrifice secular things on the sabbath as a way of proving your loyalty. My guess is it’s a similar sentiment as a whole for the LDS sabbath. Of course individuals make that call for themselves like one poster pointed out. But if you’re goal is keep the sabbath, you wouldn’t flip flop which day in order to make it more convenient
