She is not committed to Arizona, but she was the player I was referring to earlier in the thread talking about how a foreigner would be a last resort for him, but that if he did want to look for another foreigner, there is a player available that fits the bill, so that's probably why he posted it. I might actually try to send it his way though lol, she looks solid and I've heard good things about her. |

She plays for the French Federation developmental team right now (against professionals like Micaya White, Carli Snyder, Jaali Winters, Sherridan Atkinson, etc etc) Same team that Guewe Diouf played for before Oklahoma. It'd be a good risk. |

Hypothetically speaking…if Skinner transfers to Texas, I’d love to see Parra transfer to Arizona and play with her friend Maldonado. That would be a fun lineup to watch. I’m an Arizona native and have been following Arizona volleyball since 2001. Lived in Texas since 2006 (Austin 2015-Current). Love Texas VB but still root for AZ. Skinner isn't going to Texas but Parra should transfer anyway. guess you don’t have any credibility at all anymore or you should expose who lied to you ! Is not Olivia Johnson (2022), 6 ft 4 in middle an incoming freshman for the next year? I just looked over the OPs og post and did not see her listed.

That's very different than the Fisher situation. Again, I'm not saying that you weren't told exactly what you posted. I'm suggesting that whomever was feeding your information was not giving you a complete picture. It's your decision what to do in response. |

Good thing is there’s still about a dozen options out there, with maybe a little over half being in the realm of possibility. |

I wouldn't be to worried about timing other than the pool to draw from gets smaller. However and with that being said i have confidence Dave will be able to recruit and sign what the team needs ie Puk Stubbe style. Except a MB

I am very intrigued by the hire of Plum. Since Dave was a setter, that's kind of been his baby. Dyck had the pins and Rita had the middles. I don't know if Gwen is still around as the volunteer; I have been so focused on basketball (and now softball) lately that I have been out of the loop a bit. She's still on the staff page, but Dyck was when I looked earlier today and he's been gone for weeks.
I was wondering when Simone Overbeck was finally going to call it quits. I think she might have appeared in one set in 3 years. Too bad for her.
As for recruits, this year they have Ana Heath (S) and Lauren Rummel (MB) coming in. I believe Ana is already on campus. Lauren may be, as well. I can't remember what Dave told me about that; it's been a while but I thought he said that all of them would be on campus for spring. Then, supposedly Kaori Robertson but she's a DS who signed last year. She's been at Arizona as a student for a year but wasn't with the team last season.
Next year, the only one I can find is OH Sydnie Vanek.
I always kind of wondered if Crouch was coming back. She originally came in as an OPP, but Ware not playing as a freshman made them change that. Then, she got concussed and stayed out for over half of the COVID-19 spring season. Then, the "medical gap year." She's still listed as a student at Arizona, but who knows how often they update that public information.
Still waiting for that middle from the portal...
