IMO, 6 rotation players should be considered for POY. Interesting take. I disagree but you, of course, are welcomed to your opinion.

Penn State will hire a coach and west coast people will say how lame State College is and that they can't believe someone would live there.

Penn State will not make the 2022 NCAA Tournament. LOL. Haters gonna hate.

I think holding it against a pin for playing three rotations is okay. But I don't hold it against a middle, as that's just inherent to their position. It's extremely rare for a middle to win NPOY anyway, as Rettke is only the second one in the rally-scoring era, after Foluke.

True freshman will play a larger role than expected despite many SAs returning for their Covid year.
Pepperdine and West Virginia to the Sweet 16.
Kansas to the Final Four.

Florida will win its first National Championship for a 3rd straight first time champion. Florida, like every other program, deserves what it earns and it won't be a NC. Sealy somehow rolls up the sleeves even higher and UCLA wins it all.

I think, if you have a Pin who is your go to player, scores a ton, and blocks well; it shouldn't be held against her if she doesn't play back row. My biggest criteria is that she be heart and soul of her team. I don't know if I've ever heard someone talk about Gretzky being a good defensive forward (Yes, I know different era, different sport, but I still think it applies)

If a three-rotation pin was putting up Jordan Thompson-type numbers, I could see overlooking them not playing in the back row. I wouldn't make it a hard-and-fast rule, but I was thinking in general.
