New Hampshire, Norfolk St., and The Citadel in a home tournament?! The other schedule looks good, but that weekend in particular seems a bit of an embarrassment. If that were the only home tourney I'd readily agree. But Tennessee's only had two pre-conference home tournaments in the same season 3 times in the last 30 years. So on the rare occasion they have two, I don't see a problem with one of them being lighter than the other. (Hey! First time I've looked up volleyball stats since January!) Overall, I think it's a very favorable schedule -- especially only facing Florida and Kentucky once each. If they had last year's team, I'd bet they could match or better the 20 wins they got in 2021. Unfortunately I don't know much about the incoming players so won't make a guess. But at least they got the schedule going for them! (It's good for the team that the only Florida match will be in Knoxville, but selfishly I wish it were in Gainesville this year!) |

Didn’t realize Bryant was transferring till I saw the Duke post. I knew she graduated but thought she was staying at UT for grad school. She’s great. I wish her luck at Duke.

Sad to see Ava Bell retire. I'm sure playing with the injury this past year was very difficult.
