idk why y'all have to complain about everything, i honestly enjoyed watching AU. getting to see NCAA greats battle it out is entertaining, especially when Karsta lowe yelling is in the mix. plus we got to see some legends play, nootsara and Sheila being two of them. the funny thing is everyone complaining are gonna be the ones watching every match lol. I mean no. At least not for me. I enjoyed the first season a bit but I think I watched 2 matches last season and only bc Sheilla had picked the teams and was playing well. Maybe I’ll tune it a couple times but it’s not exactly that good of a product imo. The volleyball is subpar and the format is dumb Yea the format makes it really hard to get into from a fans perspective. Part of the appeal to pro and college sports is that you want a team to follow for and root for each season. With AU you don’t get that, you get it for 3 matches and then it’s a new season basically. I’m appreciative that we have something in the states finally but I’m hopeful We can get a more consistent league like the European countries have.

Glass, Fairs, and Bruns are joining the AU "Players Executive Committee" so it looks like season 3 is a go. Lichtmann is not playing, but is the 'Director of Sport' while Taylor Morgan is coaching I think. Deja and Molly McCage remain on the committee. i wonder if any ncaa-ers who are looking to play pro are going to be hesitant to play this season after what happened to stivrins last season

Stivrins was a freak injury, early on in the season. There's no way to try to plan or prevent that. But on the other hand, there's a lot of games and fatigue is real... look at the dwindled rosters towards the ends of the past two seasons... and coming off an NCAA season. I'd be curious to see the amount of court time in AU vs the average Euro league

I'd be curious to see the amount of court time in AU vs the average Euro league I don’t think it is a question of court time, but the back-to-back or 2 matches in a weekend (every weekend) AU does that is problematic. Also, Stivrins was coming off her back surgery & played thru an ankle sprain in the tournament, so she was poorly advised imo to play AU (and expect to be in the USA gym AND sign in Italy). She needed rest & conditioning.

She do be earning that paycheck.
