I guess Texas doesn't want to risk losing to Rice in a match that counts. I do feel like I’m past years we choke when we played them but last year we swept them twice and plus they lost their best player |

Arkansas is out - arkansasrazorbacks.com/2022-volleyball-season-schedule-released/Two matches vs UW (welcome home, Ella May!), Colo State, Colorado, GA Tech, and NC State. I think the Hogs are tired of not having a strong enough SOS to make the tournament. But as usual, they got absolutely hosed by the SEC -- they have twin-bills versus what are obviously going to be the top 4 teams in the conference: UF, UK, MS State, and TN. |

Is this really an actual event? Or just 4 teams that agreed to play each other? It's listed as the "Big Ten/Pac 12 challenge". Last season, Illinois hosted the same teams. It was a four-year deal. UW hosted in 2018, Iowa in 2019, and Colorado was originally scheduled to host in 2020. Illinois coaches favor this approach to scheduling, so I'm expecting that we'll see the start of another similar four-year rotation for the Illini next year. No word on who will be involved, but the coaching connections could make UW a likely partner again... |
