Utah Tech. Formerly Dixie State Were they trying to make it look like 'LIT'. ? They certainly have had their fair share of mascots/names/whatever. I always liked the Dixie State Red Storm. Are they still going to be the Trailblazers? Lol, it does kind of look like "LIT" now that you mention it. What they were actually going for is the outline of the state of Utah within the U. Anyway, I think that dark blue background in the tweet makes the logo look particularly bad. Here is their branding page about it. Edit: Someone on Reddit pointed out that they stole the state outline concept from UVU. I never noticed it before, but they're right.

Interesting to see the UTEP - NMSU match post conference tournament. I guess that is allowed, but it seems like an odd time. I know they are two rivals, and must not have been able to get the match in elsewhere.
From the UTEP Press release - "UTEP will return home to host three top 2021 RPI schools in South Dakota (74), UNM (125), and Portland State (101), in what may be one of the toughest nonconference tournaments in the country, the Borderland Invitational (Sept. 1-3) at Memorial Gym. The combined win total of those four teams last year was 84 with UTEP having won 24 matches and the other three winning 20 each."

The match vs High Point being played in Madison and not Milwaukee is a surprise to me. Marquette plays their 'annual' match vs Wisconsin on Friday Sept 2nd, this year in Madison. Then on the 3rd, there is a Wisconsin home football game at the adjacent stadium at Camp Randall, which precludes any VB being played in the Field House. So I had expected that High Point would travel to Milwaukee - about 75 miles away - to play Marquette at Marquette on Saturday before coming to Madison for their match on Sunday vs Wisconsin. But instead, High Point will play two on Sunday the 4th, likely vs Marquette at 1 PM and then Wisconsin at 7 or 8, etc. (High Point played a similar 'double-header' in Madison in 2018, with Texas as the third school.)
