Is Pitt in on any other potential transfers? I thought someone posted in another thread that I can longer find, that Pitt was still working on another transfer. Maybe the transfer ended up going elsewhere.

Maybe the transfer ended up going elsewhere. They were talking to a few passing outsides but couldn’t get any of them. So if they are still looking for a transfer that’s the type of player I would expect to see come in. |

Gotta think current events will seriously impact Syracuse WVB from a number of directions. Definitely. Wondering if coaching change would have also moved them to more of a home grown pipeline anyway. But current world events def will mean impacts |

Lol. Let's not get carried away, Dan. Hah, maybe a bit of Meske cheese there, but it is nice to see that sort of inter-squad camaraderie show up on occasion. Trash talk is ok and all, but sometimes it is nice to see some honest respect between players/teams. |

Gabby McCaa heading for greener pastures at Wisconsin is not a good sign for BC. With her, Naughton, and Chuwujekwu all gone, they are short 7.81 pts/set(49%) and 59% of their block numbers. Ouch! One of the articles on her transfer mentioned how she wanted to be able to compete for a championship her last couple years, so she was obviously not seeing that option at BC. The question of where BC is playing their home matches this fall is becoming a little clearer(?). Power gym is now gone as BC builds a Golden Palace basketball practice facility and kicked volleyball out. BC is playing their spring schedule in the rec center. That looks like it will be their new home. Nothing has been stated but the summer camp info had this under 'facilities'. "The Connell Recreation Center opened up in the fall of 2019 and changed the landscape of lower campus on The Heights. The volleyball team will be moving into a volleyball only facility this fall and the building will become the permanent home of the Eagles Volleyball program. All camp courts will be housed within the facility across 4 air conditioned wooden courts." OK, so... they are taking over part of the rec center?? It kind of implies that, and I don't know what the other option would be. What does this mean for spectators? In looking at a map with a floor plan of the 4 levels, it does not look like there is a place for any seating(not that they need much - kidding!  ). Feels like a very loose definition of "volleyball only". Did anyone go to the March 26 scrimmages they held there? edit 4/30/22: Kate Brennan - Middle - UNLV to Boston College. Sounds like a very good pickup.  |

Have you heard anything about their incoming class of First Years? Do they have an Auburn situation where they have a large class coming in to bolster their numbers? |

I was under the impression that most bolted on the news of the coaching move. Not sure if all the first years bolted. If someone is brave enough to take the job they are certainly going to have to scramble. |
