What happened to the kid from Princeton who was like a Middle/Oppo? Did he retire or is he still around? George Huhmann. He played pro in Belgium in 2020-2021 but looks like he's not signed to a pro team this season. |

More and more airlines are canceling flights into and out of Russia and American citizens in the country should consider leaving "immediately," the U.S. Embassy in Moscow warned in a security alert Sunday.
Why it matters: The move came on the fourth day of Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, hours after the European Union announced that it would ban all Russian aircraft from its airspace.
The Level 4 travel advisory recommends not traveling to Russia due to "ongoing tension along the border with Ukraine, the potential for harassment against U.S. citizens [and] the embassy’s limited ability to assist U.S. citizens in Russia," among other reasons.

I just noticed this but a month ago James Shaw posted on his Instagram a video of him setting and the caption is “Grateful for another chance at this”. He also has usav/usavmnt in his bio. Not sure what it means or if this is noteworthy news lol

I just noticed this but a month ago James Shaw posted on his Instagram a video of him setting and the caption is “Grateful for another chance at this”. He also has usav/usavmnt in his bio. Not sure what it means or if this is noteworthy news lol he is back training with the national team and I heard has a contract set next year in Germany |

probably looking for depth at setter now that Ma'a and Worsley probably aren't doing USA stuff plus Kawika is maybe done with national team stuff? Wait... I haven't been following outofsystem for a while but have they announced that they're not going to be with the national team? Also, it's good to see Shaw give it a chance again and potentially receive a pro contract, but obviously my expectations aren't very high. Would be quite the story if he somehow shakes off the rust and makes a VNL roster but who knows. He's already 28 years old, but hey I'm not trying to be ageist and I'm all for a redemption arc lol. |

I’ve been pretty high on Ma’a but it sounds like National Team doesn’t seem to be either of their priorities. Don’t know if that’s actually the case, but this would be a huge summer to miss out on. |
