It’s kind of sad Drews didn’t like Poland, something I don’t understand thou... Thinking about it, Chemik LOVED Drews... All the promo they had on her. Unfortunate

Utah and Poland couldn’t be more different. It’s hard for many to make a big cultural shift like that. If that was part of the issue…
even if more fans show up tomorrow, I don't think fan energy is something this league is going to have. who do you root for? the color of the t-shirt you're wearing? none of these players have enough established domestic American fanbases.

Enter the Brazilian and Thai fans… fly them in lol

if the league was in omaha, or another vball heavy city...maybe fans would support former big-10 (nebraska) players, but that's a lot of maybes.
i think the league would have been better if they traveled across the country. i don't see how people who don't live in dallas choose a particular week to come visit, especially b/c the teams aren't the same week in/week out
"I'm from Arizona Jerry! I broke Arizona records! I went to Arizona State! I'm a Sun Devil, man!"
I honestly love how AU brings together players you never would’ve thought would play with/against each other. Like tell me a few years ago that Hentz, Tomkom, and Fonoimoana would be on the same team and I would’ve laughed.

Exactly. I applaud the effort to try something different. How many failed attempts have we had in the past? If this keeps the league going then it’s worth it.
