TBH if Imoco plays like this for the next match against Fener I can't imagine them winning more than 2 sets. The good news is Haak seems to be back to her normal form so she will possibly be much better than the last match. But the disconnection between the setter and pins as well as the serving/passing issues might still remain. True wolosz still struggled a bit to start but the connection with everyone got better later on. Conegliano need haak, lubian and squarcini to serve in and they need to block better and hope 1 of the three pins on fener have a bad game to even have a chance at winning in 3 or 4. Being home should help that though

Congliano wins in four. Haak was top scorer. Plummer had 13, Kelsey 11 It's too bad these two teams aren't both in Champions League this season. They will be next season. Can you field an on court squad of strictly foreign starters for a club in any of the European Cups? (CL, CUP, ChCup) yes and fraudicci did

Someone on the CEV thread asked Gabricio to ELI5 their previous post, and I'm like... it's not you, it's them.

Just got around to watching first set of Scandicci/Imoco. What was that call to finish the set? Down ref seemed to call that Yao Di reached over and across the plane of the net to dump, but she very very very very very clearly did not?
Edit: OH, it's because Merlo took the pass with her hands. Very clever down ref! Good presence of mind!

Yeah, unfortunately it's predictable, not prescient. Does KCook have a viable back up on the USA NT in your opinion? Is it Kingdon, now that Larson, Hill, MBH and Courtney-Lush have retired? Who are possible substitutions of L2 this summer? Or will she play L1 like Larson did? Edit: Message me so we don't derail this thread. Skinner? Not sure how much she's progressing internationally but she was lights out last summer and her passing was a strength.

The difference between Antropova and Mingardi is pretty huge. I don't understand why you would even consider starting Mingardi if you're trying to perform your best, especially given how mid Washington and Belien have been. Honestly, I'm not even sure they deserve their spots over Alberti regardless of local status.

only one match tomorrow Cuneo-Scandicci 2:30 PM CT Trap match. Scandicci just battled a very tough THY team the other day. They'll be vulnerable.
