So apparently the reason why Venelles's coach was put on leave because of an altercation with libero Amandine Giardino. In this article, Farjaudon is claiming that Giardino was being rude to her teammates and the staff, and that he wanted to have a conversation with her about her bad behavior. She refused to meet with the staff in the staff office, and there was a verbal altercation between the two. He is apparently meeting with a lawyer to discuss his (in his view) wrongful termination. But...the club decided to terminate him because of abuse of power (paraphrase). Looks like some schedules have been released for the 2023-2024 season. Season will start October 7th. Le Cannet is playing some friendlies with Roma, Cuneo, and Trento this weekend.
