Brayelin/Anne can't pass. Jineiry and Carol cant be used in the offense cause of passing and setting. usually one of them goes off and thats good enough to win.... but they really should have lost their series to SESC... SESC just flopped at every chance |

Jineiry and Carol cant be used in the offense cause of passing and setting. usually one of them goes off and thats good enough to win.... but they really should have lost their series to SESC... SESC just flopped at every chance but like that pin trio should be goated and those are two top middles in the world. Passing shouldn’t even matter 😭 |

But maybe not, I haven’t actually looked at the stats. (Also I haven’t watched game 2 of semifinals yet) |

Although Praia has the biggest investment in women's volleyball in Brazil, the international players of Minas are way more accostumed to play (and win) against the best international competition. From the Brazil who started the last world championship, more than half of the team play for Minas (Kisy, Nyeme, Pri Daroit and Carol Gattaz - who is injured, but her backup is Julia Kudiess, who is also her backup for the National Team, thus Minas still have half of the brazilian NT playing for them). And even Carol, who I consider to be the best MB in the world, alongside Ogbogu, doesn't win the whole MB1 MB2 vs MB1 MB2 match up, because the 2nd and 3rd best brazilian middles (considering what they are playing right now) are precisely Thaisa and Julia Kudiess. Besides that, the difference in libero from Nyeme to Suellen is huuuuuge. Praia suck at passing and Minas is by far the best blocking team in the league. Not only because of the Middles, but also because Kisy is by far the best blocker between non-MB players in the league. I don't like Kisy as a whole, since she commits too many errors. But Minas' experience and playstyle have been being Praia's achilles for the last 3 seasons. |
