Passing and defense are the key for the Badgers in 2022. The offensive weaponry is potentially unmatched nationally.

Louisville lost their two most valuable players. They are not a top five team in ‘22. I disagree. Look at the other programs who would be battling for those top 5 spots usually and what they have lost. Pitt, Kentucky, Purdue, wisco, Baylor, Georgia tech all took major hits to their personnel, worse than Louisville did. Who knows what Minnesota is gonna look like without samedy. Louisville returns all 3 starting pins, libero, both DS, and a middle who was their best blocker. They replace dilfer with an experienced setter who is fully capable of setting for a top 5 team. Yes, they lost Stevenson but a lot of top programs lost a lot more than louisville did. not to mention last season was Scott’s first time ever playing libero so she’s only gonna get better. Louisville will be just fine

Of those 3, MN's setter has the most B1G experience, assuming Orr starts at Nebraska.

From what I saw in the spring, I think Shaffmaster has taken some leaps forward in her development. That's exciting. I always want MN to do well and I'd LOVE for them to be the next team to break through the national title ceiling.

As ~covertly~ skeptical as I was regarding Mel’s setting her first two seasons, I’d 100% agree with your assertion. She’s most definitely figured some stuff out and turned a major corner from what I’ve seen from her this spring.

Iowa, Michigan State, and Penn State. Three new coaching teams to watch this year. Is that high for the Big Ten? Not sure there has been 3 new hires in 1 year in the Big 10. Anyone know the answer?

It's official. Nebraska is the best team in the Big Ten. Not sure that I would agree with OSU above WI and MN. For some reasons, she has been so hyped up about OSU lol.
