I didn't know where to put this but needed to share that Hames put Rutgers below Oklahoma State (that doesn't have volleyball) 😂: https://www.tiktok.com/@nicklinhamesss/video/7182406659908701483

EDIT: How does OK State not have a volleyball program? Weird that a Power 5 school doesn't have a women's volleyball program.

Just thought it was funny how it worked out. Also, yep... After Vandy gets going in 2025, they'll be the only P5 without a program. I asked in the Big 12 thread about it and they said there isn't a ton of in-state interest in the sport (softball place). Said they'd expect women's wrestling at OSU before volleyball

I know the chances are low…. But I really wish they’d add the sport!

Not that he’s wrong, but it’s not like you got an answer from an expert of the OSU athletic department or anything.

I didn't know this about USC! Looks like Colorado and WSU didn't have it either--so 3/12 (25%) of the conference. Maybe being the only 1 of 16, with a little pressure from the B1G will get it done! Only thing is, softball doesn't have to do things in travel pairs since they play series with each teams, so I'd think only the team(s) that get to have UCLA/USC on their spring break would benefit from having two west coast teams. Sorry for the side tangent about not volleyball--just found this interesting.

He hasn't finished destroying the PAC and now he's bailing?

The B1G commish leaving??? He hasn't finished destroying the PAC and now he's bailing? There are lots of people that feel KW was using the Big Ten as a stepping stone to get a NFL job better than VP of football Operations (multiple teams), COO (Vikings), or head legal (multiple teams). The guy has a crazy good football resume in the NFL, did what almost any other leader was also doing in regards to Covid, and continued to grow (regardless of people likening the term or not) the business he was in charge of. Also, he didn't destroy the PAC - if he didn't do it the next guy or some other conference would have. A lot of this is probably tied to the fact the Bears have been so inept in their front office they needed a change, paired with the fact his family is already in Chicagoland and the Bears are gearing up to move to the suburbs with a brand new stadium and grounds, he seems like a pretty good fit.

That’s the interest.

The wheels are already in motion for that, so having that experience and knowing how to navigate the unexpected definitely makes him stand out.

I'm just hearing about Warren possibly going to the Bears.
Man that might be the shortest major conference commish tenure ever (excepting interim hires). If he does leave, that's a big job opening and I'm fascinated to see who is hired.
