This also got me thinking about how this is gonna work- either Livings or Young is going to the other pin or the bench…

This also got me thinking about how this is gonna work- either Livings or Young is going to the other pin or the bench… There is room in the middle for D1 players at the high school level. Especially on such a stacked team. They were runner's up last year with three sophomores on the pins and a freshman setter and libero I think?

I know last season they livings play right back whenever she rotated to the back row so she could see time on RS this year.

I’m pretty sure she does at PCA, but for TAV they ran a 6-2 so it’ll be interesting if she transitions into a 5-1 now that Bethanie Wu is playing for Ping come club season

Who are y’all thinking for top 2025 libero/ds? McKenna Payne Michigan Elite Sierra Pokharel Nebraska Premier Annalise Grant Six Pack Not sure how they'll be viewed nationally but I've seen these girls talked about a fair amount. Grant is an interesting prospect. She's played up a grade with Six Pack's 2024 class the last few years. Probably underrated but you don't see many errors in serve receive or defense when watching her.

I think her name is Taylor Cook, Dallas Skyline. I heard Cook might be taking over the setter spot. She is probably one of the top setters in the 2025 class. With all the top recruits at the pins, I don't think TAV would ever play 5-1 unless one of the setters got injured.

Taylor Harvey may be the best. She made the All Tournament team for 17s. This was my list back in July after watching the Nationals.
1) Taylor Harvey (Club V) - She played in 17s and still dominated. A real key in the 42-40 win over Metro 17 to get them to gold. 2) MacKenzie Collins (HJV) - She was the smaller of the HJV middles but she was the more powerful hitter with a good vertical. 3) Taryn Morris (TAV) - She really bangs the ball to the floor. 4) Natalie Wardlow (Nebraska One) - good length, was hitting shoots, quicks and slides to show off her versatility. 5) Isabelle Ehrlich (Absolute) - Got the game winning kill (15-13) to give Circle City (5-0) their first loss. A big upset at the time. 6) Daniela Rusich (Surfside) - Really good arm extension to bury balls to the floor. 7) Stella Dillon (Coast) - Big hitter with length (6'0") with good arm extension. 8) Makena Rumple (Storm) - She impressed me with a nice little cut shot that went down. 9) Jordan Taylor (HJV) - She has some great length (6'5"). Lots of potential but work needs to be done. 10) Erica Sawyer (Colorado Jrs) - She played in National but was dominant in middle putting everything she was set down.

Who are y’all thinking for top 2025 libero/ds? Taylor Deckert played up on SCVC 16's last year and starts for Mira Costa at L. She's gotta be one of the best in SoCal at the position.

Metro 16 needed to replace Cari Spears on the outside so they have another talented player 2025 Lameen Mambu to replace her on the Metro 17 team. She played last year for Paramount 16.
