Y’all need to get over blaming Plummer as the issue. Santa and his main elf Wolosz are seriously so tired. Time for something new. Both need to go to the polish league You know I have been a big KP fan but it’s getting hard to defend her lol. She just needs to get better, it’s okay to acknowledge that.

Both need to go to the polish league Folks love to tear players down. Everyone has their favorites. You can't argue against the data though. Homegirl doesn't appear to be mentally tough enough in big matches.....at least not yet. That could change with time. I am confident that at least one out of Plummer, Frantti, Bajema and Lanier will be the big arm on the left that the USA needs. These two seasons with Imoco have been great for Plummer. I still think she is taking the MBH path. Slow and steady and will probably hit her stride in the next several years. Plummer still has a lot of unrealized potential, but it's not the type of boundless potential that she displayed in NCAA play. She's probably not going to become a good passer, unfortunately, but she needs to find a situation where her strengths are magnified, like Gamova did.

Take the gym seriously as in plyometrics( she is already 6’7”, basically any jump improvement would make her unstoppable and she does look athletic when she is sprinting in USA system). 2. Leave imocco if a good opportunity presents itself

I also feel that the Italian league (or more specifically, Italian coaching and playing style) isn't the best place for her.

yea but with the way sports normally progress don’t be surprised if youth players and coaches start emphasizing on jumps serves for women at a young age Well we probably don’t have to worry about this in America. I’d imagine most players and coaches don’t even know who Arina is or watch champions league lol then we are going to be left behind.

I think she is more fluid than stysiak body movement wise but stysiak has the better arm swing, plummer is literally the tallest good outside, she should be consistently going over blocks. I think this role in conegliano is fine if she wants to win as much as possible in club but to be better for what team USA needs, a clear number one role would be better for her to get fast progression and learn how to deal with teams just trying to stop her. Last year and this year a lot of times coaches just tell middles to cheat to her when she is front row by herself and sometimes she struggles

Anyway, Fenerbahçe are playing some insane and incredibly entertaining ball right now. Arina is just unreal from the service line.
The craziest thing is Macris isnt even that good and theyre still just pounding away at any high ball.
Good luck to Vakifbank. Bae is gonna have to show up and show out.

I mean I just don’t imagine club/youth coaches would adapt to the international game and USAV is questionable too. Who knows when/if jump serving will take over

Who knows when/if jump serving will take over OOS attacking should be prioritized. Especially on the right. (also start making setters good again, not just physical) Not everyone can or will serve like Arina.

It has been my concerns for quite some time but apparently most RS from the NCAA teams are not the first choice when it comes to OOS attacking. Also serve/receive is definitely not comparable to the international level games, partly because the ball that NCAA uses?
