Bc you don’t have to control top spins as much and watch the ball as much😭 they just come to you for the most part. That’s why Floats are more effective in the womens game… top spin serves are still harder to pass Is it crack?

I can’t stay on this ship if she keeps letting me down lol. It was a bad match for her. I still see her potential but idk. Even if she improves under Karch this summer she’s most likely going to be on the bench during pro season if the transfer rumors come true. Maybe backing up Haak is a blessing in disguise and will make her go back to right side. Or maybe she just doesn’t pan out on the left. Time will tell Trust. No ship has smooth sailing all the time Playing right side is not the play for her. This is one of the problems so far I see in her career. The constant moving back and forth between positions. Did you jump ship when ran and Nishida were struggling this year? Excuse me... not you coming after Ran and Yuji I didn't jump ship bc 1) Ran can pass at the international level and 2) club seasons aside, Ran/Yuji fit and play well in their NT system. The same can't be said about Plummer yet

Just watched the replay. I am so flipping happy that Tapp really showed her versatility (homer energy in full force). Great match for her as a stepping stone, and I liked her blocking speed to the pins. Micah did a nice job setting her and Washington. I’m very interested to see Tapp against better competition.
I like Cuttino’s swings at a high contact point. She has a lot of potential. Her defense though reminds me of a newborn gazelle.
Plummer. Oh Plummer. She has the tools, hopefully this is just some transition rust being the first match.

The sets to the left were half the issue. Inconsistent, low, inside. Robinson wasn’t incredible either. First match for everyone, but you’d assume they would have been cleaner after likely practicing as a unit for quite some time. Tapp looks great as does Hancocks sets to the middle.

Terminated at 45%. Had 5 errors, which one was a missed swipe and two were just big OOS swings.

I’m pretty sure Hancock got there a couple weeks ago and Plummer got in the gym last week no?

Just watched the replay. Everyone but, Tapp (yuck) did not bring their A-game. Micah was setting low. They just traveled to the Philippines so I’ll chalk it up to adjusting to the time change. I expect most the same starters will start against China. So I we’ll get a better sense then

Y’all were sleeping on Tapp and saying she had no place on rosters… she’s miles ahead of the newbies still imo. WCH roster should include her, Washington, Ogbogu and one newbie.

Micha and Carlini for Paris 2024🥰 Lol did Poulter announce her retirement? I would bet the Coaches are not leaving the setter that finally guided the team to Olympic gold home.
