Now that the California schools are starting to send out their acceptance emails, I think we are going to see a bunch of California commits'. So, the guys that committed already were early acceptance? Just wondering how UC schools work? How did some of the 2025 kids commit then? With standardized tests being optional doesn't it make it easier for these guys to commit? If they committed in the December timeframe, they could have been early acceptance/early decision or at a school that did rolling admissions. Most likely, like all the 2025's that have announced, they announced their commitment before actually getting accepted into the school. From what I understand, regular acceptance for the UC schools is mid to late March. Some of the schools may have rolling acceptance, so they could have applied late summer and been accepted by September/October. Throw in the FASFA mess and it pushed everyone back. So long story short, it depends on the school and how comfortable you think you will be in getting into the school. That's why you will occasionally see kids say they have "committed to the acceptance process" at school x or y.

How will the transfer portal impact the HS class of 2024? Assume it works like the women’s side? Opens in May? Do all d1 men’s programs accept late transfers - well, past regular application timeframe - transfers? With such deep rosters, assume we will see some movement to balance out teams in need?

I think Roure, Seddik, Gajek, and Hazan for sure top recruits of 2024. I’m not sold on Nikolov….yet. I think everyone’s expectations are that he will be as good as his brother but we shall see.

I remember reading somewhere that folks considered him better talent wise than his brother at the same age. If true, that would be scary.

Moni is steady player and gets the job done. Doesn't jump set when it's the only choice. Very good player. Better prospect than Rosenthal? NAH

Hawaii stacked already....if Seddik or Amri decide to come with Andrian....that will be the ultimate cherry on top!
I can see Hawaii starting 3 frenchmen (potentially if Seddik signs on) and 1 Bulgarian vs. LBSU and their 3 Bulgarians and 1 polish. Lol

I’d swap Kelly and Seddik! Idk about that. Kelly’s impact at OH1 is much greater than the impact a middle blocker can have..

Kelly’s impact at OH1 is much greater than the impact a middle blocker can have.. I most certainly agree with that. The question is more Kelly #1? That's what I was questioning.

I think Nikolov will be the most impactful if he shows up. If I was a coach I would pick Kelly first because that is who is likely to stay for 4 years

If I was a coach I would pick Kelly first because that is who is likely to stay for 4 years Princeton sure thought so Ivy League schools require you to get in on your own merit. Kelly committed to the application process for Princeton, and most likely did not get in, so he went with UCLA. I think the same happened with Theo Snooey.
