Whether it’s IVF or being unable to remove an unviable fetus, I think there are things that would’ve been solved through legislation over the years that were not because Roe v Wade hid them. And there WERE symbolic bills passed to outlaw abortion that the legislators never thought would matter because Roe v Wade made them moot. Now, democracy is working like it should. But it takes time for the laws to get in line with where the center is on this topic. You know there have been hundreds of bills passed in just the last 20 years imposing restrictions on abortion, right?

I am not aware of any normal thinking person in the right to life movement that believes that this woman shouldn't have had the dead fetus removed from her body - or if non-viable. This has nothing to do with Roe or Dobbs. Lots and lots of legislators and attorneys general disagree with you.

I see you are finally admitting that the Republican party in the current US is not made up of "normal thinking persons".

You would be hard pressed to find any person in congress (Fed or State) that after seeing that video would say - yes, the hospital should have turned that women away with her dead fetus in her belly. I just use the phrase 'normal' - since there are some bats$it crazy people in this country/world. Not the same, but related - even Kari Lake and Donald Trump think the Arizona SC ruling on abortion this week was a very bad idea. Trump really isn't some kind of anti-abortion zealot - but Lake saying this... And those two would be among the leaders in being usually bats$it crazy - so it would have to take someone less normal then either of them.

Dude, there are state legislators pushing that through all over red-state-land. Because they deliberately reject the "viability" criteria, that means that a "dead fetus" is still a fetus and still a "person" and aborting it is still illegal.

Trump scrambling to do damage control after the Arizona Supreme Court handed Dems a really big stick to whack Republicans from here to November.

Neither one of them is normal, and they both cheered Dobbs and the expected impact of Dobbs—until voters rejected the outcome in conservative states. You have to be entirely disingenuous to believe that their current positions—and Trump’s in particular—is anything but political posturing.

Democrats working night and day to kill babies. Says the guy who responded to the 30,000 women and children dead in Gaza as "war is hell." Guess what? Women's health care is hell.

Democrats working night and day to kill babies. Trump, too, by your standards. Honestly....I can't talk out of both sides of my mouth. WE as Republicans felt that these decisions should be left up to the states but you can't go back on your word when the decisions that are made are not to your liking. We are not Democrats and when we give our word, that means something.

Then you had to add a dishonest swipe at Democrats, because you juuuust can't help yourself. Hey, speaking of breaking one's word, here are 40 (!) doozies from Trump, just for sh!ts and giggles: prospect.org/politics/trumps-40-biggest-broken-promises/
