Really disappointing quality of the stream. Camera too far away I can’t really get into it. Last year the stream was so much better, close to action, replays, etc. Really enjoyed watching last year but just couldn’t get engaged this year watching from the nosebleeds.

Are there any players missing from the team that took bronze at the U18 World Champ? (Aside from those who weren’t age eligible) Yes, Jurevicius. I’m pretty sure Jurevicius is a 2004. She was not eligible for this team.

The problem with awards and all-teams is they are based on formulaes or stats to remove "bias" or to not slight a team or country (i.e. the top four teams get one spot in the awards). Based on performance the United States should have received more awards, but they received the majority.
Personally, I thought Choboy's digging was better than her receiving (and I'm not saying her receiving is bad), but she made some incredible digs.
There also must have been a number of blocks being made by middles against other teams not named the United States. In the games I watched the United States middles were doing most of the blocking.
I agree with the comment about Jackson. Murray impressed and I expected that, but I knew little about Jackson coming in. I now know so much more. She's a player.

Choboy was never going to win best digger because the USA simply sides out too well.
USA was the top team in blocks/set... but they're spread out amongst their players.
they probably dont (or shouldnt) care about the awards
but if I had to make a "best" team it would be
S: Reilly Opp: Lopez (PUR) OH: Murray, Rebeca (BRA) MB: Jackson, Palhano (BRA) L: Choboy
