I know most of the posters here do not care about the WAC, but it is a decent mish-mash conference.
UVU, GCU, NMSU, and SHSU were the strongest last year. There will be some losses as Chicago St (who actually had a good team) and Lamar (who did not) are both nor returning. Chicago St was known, Lamar only known about two weeks ago. Incarnate Word was going to join, but backed out as well.
Cal Baptist and now Utah Tech had solid years. The only really bad team in the West was Seattle.
UT-Arlington joins the fun this season.
Some schools already have their schedules out, they included UIW and Lamar, so those will need to be changed.
No world has yet come out about the new schedules.

Dixie State has already posted their updated schedule. They get return games vs Southern Utah and Utah Valley. The NMSU game was also switched to a road game.

I have no idea how they are going to do seeding for the Conference tourney and see who is the regular season champion.

So Dixie St and S Utah are 50 miles away from each other. Their performance is similar; I doubt that they are ranked very far away from each other by any credible ranking system. Their gyms are similar; both built in the 80s with similar capacities. Yet the season ticket prices are quite different. SUU practically gave them away for $11. So long as you make it to two games, you are coming out ahead. Dixie sold them for $85. You have to attend 9 out of 10 games in order to get your money's worth. wtf? Now it's cool that you can get season tickets to both for less than $100. And it works out pretty well for me, since I live right by Dixie, and plan on attending all of their games, whereas I am only going to make it to 3 SUU matches, due to their schedules being synced up together as travel partners. But that's quite a difference in pricing for two similarly situated programs. I'm amused that you're continuing to call them Dixie State. I don't blame you. Also, BYU season tickets are only $50-$90 unless you want to be courtside.

That is such an odd pricing. St. George is growing like crazy while Cedar City is growing, but not as fast. When you compare the cost of BYU and UT that is amazing.

I don't know most of these acronyms, but I will take a guess. WAC - We're Always Changing conference UVU - Upstate Valley Upstate GCU - Good Christian University (or Great Christian University) NMSU - New Mexico State U SHSU - Seton Hall State U Did I get some of those right? Or even close? Actually, about 15 years or so ago, when I started coaching college, I hoped to coach at Southern Utah U someday. I thought it might be a nice place, nice weather, not a lot of pressure to be great... I don't know anything about the University or location really, but I thought it would have to be better than Northern Utah. What conf does SUU play in?

SUU was in the Big Sky, but it looks like they just moved to the WAC.

NMSU finally gets their schedule out - nmstatesports.com/sports/womens-volleyball/scheduleExhibition vs WNMU is not a surprise. Three quality tournaments, plus two vs UCSB at home is good. I am actually glad to see Chicago St on the schedule. I do wish UNM was on the schedule.
