donut I’m up 4-1 but it’s tight.
I pretty much have kills and assists locked up.

You have blocks by 0.04.
I have aces by 0.13 and digs by 0.33.

The only game left is Meuth’s - A&M @ Mizzou which starts in just a few minutes.

Unless Hickey has a crazy match, I'll still win, defeating Avid in his big category (digs), which is an achievement for me BUT the Fantasy gods are just going bananas right now. This week in aces for my team is almost impossible and yet, during the one week I only needed to win aces, I'm probably going to lose it, thus giving Avid an actual undefeated record, at likely 2nd place.

the amount of digs you got is/was insane. 

i would've still lost with a double libero and a wiedemann flop

Right, but your team still put up at about your season average in digs - your team actually did what they were supposed to do in. I can't be disappointed getting beat out that way, but I just feel like my team LOST aces rather than your team won it, it's just kind of a sucky way to end the season, I feel like I lost rather than you won. But I guess if we were giving out any sort of co-champs (which would probably be warranted this year because you and I just killed it), me being #1 and you being #2 but having beaten me and being undefeated on the year, is about as best as one could have hoped for.

Are you watching? That 1st kill by Briggs here in the 5th could have been statted either way, but I think the kill was the good call. It was dug, but kind of fast at Graham and she set it over the net. I'd give it a kill though, especially cause I have a high opinion of Graham.

Now we have a challenge for her potential 2nd kill, and it's VERY CLOSE!

Nope.

If the match ended in 4 sets, I would have won by 1 kill (+0.02). I just did the math for 3 sets, and I would have won there too.

WKU actually netted on a hitting error by Rice that would have won the match for them in the 4th set..... (AND ME!)

What's even more wild is that in the last 2 points of the SMU/Houston match.. Abbie Jackson got a kill on the very last point and eazy's MB Austin-Roark got a kill the 2nd to last point. Either one of those changing could swing this result too.

well, I have to hand to the admins this year. I was skeptical that the schedule was pre-determined but I dunno if you could have scripted this season any better. Last week, undefeated #1 and #2 face each other for 1st and 2nd, and #3 and #4 face each other for 3rd.... 3rd place match is coming down to 1 or 2 kills, the likely outcome for 1st and 2nd is both teams winning against the others brand category, with 2nd place remaining undefeated..... crazy.

Yup. The difference really was 1 or 2 kills, depending on the player. Briggs needed 2 more kills - but technically if Austin-Roark had got another kill, I believe we would have tied in kills and that would have given eazy the 3.5-1.5 win, which eazy would win the tiebreaker in that scenario.
