I took a 3-2 win, which is the only variety of win I got this year. That's also Draco's brand. Losing 2-3. Draco’s team was decimated by injuries… Pukis, Rousseau, Debeer, wasn’t Mckissok out too? 5th is pretty remarkable for that team, he could have also got some more upsets, had he not missed add/drop deadlines 😉

LOL, no. My goal was not to be in the very bottom, and to have a good time, and to learn some stuff. Mission accomplished x3. Always fun to have new posters who stay engaged in fantasy! 100% want to play next season, if y'all will have me. It's been a blast!

Am I technically above Kingsley with H2H being the first tiebreaker?

Am I technically above Kingsley with H2H being the first tiebreaker? Tiebreakers: 1) overall record, 2) head-to-head, 3) set record. If still tied through the first three categories, the participant with the last draft pick wins.

ok.. I guess my MOPs are: controversial - but no doubt about it.. my best player was 4th-round pick Abbie Jackson. | | | Abbie Jackson Outside Hitter Houston | Haley Hoang Libero Stephen F. Austin | Chelsey Lockey Setter FGCU | 3.91 kills/set |
| 0.52 kills/set |
| 1.20 assists/set | 10.89 assist/set | 0.41 ace/set | 0.30 aces/set | 0.38 aces/set | 2.82 dig/set | 5.09 digs/set | 2.45 digs/set | 0.33 blk/set |
| 0.51 blocks/set |
It was hard to choose. Tillman was good. So were Dowler and Shemanova.

Late to the conversation. But congrats to vup on this past weeks win. At one point I thought it wasn’t even going to be close in favor of you. Congrats to ay2013 on the win and joining trojansc as the only two-time champs. Welcome avid 2.0 on taking the podium for the first time! Sorry I couldn’t grab another point off of ay recently, I tried my best. Grrr trojansc you now have the most podium finishes now, but don’t worry I’m coming for you again next year! I don’t have the time and effort to do pics and stats but my top three MVPs are the following - Amber Igiede (2nd Round) - Sophie Fischer (1st Week Add) - Shayla McCormick (Post Draft Add) I proposed the Fantasy All-American team of one member from each roster a few years back when I was admin but not everyone sent in.

i looked back on my week-week results and looking at the closest categories... I lost blocks to give me the og-ball-u by one block (so you can thank Leyla Blackwell for your title ay2013 lol) I beat eazy by one single kill (the only time I won kills this season i think lol) I beat fighton by one single block

vballfreak808 - so with this idea, does each person pick one player from everybody else’s roster who we think was their best, and then make a fantasy AA team from that?

Frankly, the points system makes it so that your position in the league has just as much to do with how other teams are doing than it does how your team is doing. There are a lot of could of should of would of's that could have made the standings looks very different. I look at last week - the biggest unexpected penultimate week result was trojansc's 5-0 victory against Kingsley, which had a direct impact on 3rd place. That should NOT have been a 5-0, Kinglsey just misread his players schedule. That one mistake by Kingsley adversely affected Eazy, who had no say in the error from Kingsley, yet made it almost impossible for him to win 3rd, even though he beat Trojan. FWIW, I advocated for the points system years ago and it's been around ever since. I stand by it, mostly because I think it keeps as many people engaged as long as possible. Avid and I running undefeated until the last week was pure luck - that just never happens. Even if you build a solid team that can win you 3 out of 5 categories each week, you are bound to have some abnormal weekly results (like my team in aces in the final week). The one drawback to a points-based system is that you have no control over other matchups (at least not directly), and part of the issue(?) is, IMO, an additional point for a 5-0 victory. That was a more recent wrinkle to the rules, but I think I'd vote to keep a 4-1 and 5-0 victory the same in points. Certainly not trying to take anything away from Trojansc, but IMO, I think a points based system could (and should) envision a scenario where someone with 1 more loss could be one point above in the standings (what happened to Avid and I for first). I think the eventual outcome for 3rd stretches the point-based system past where it ought to be. In that scenario, Trojan finished 2 more losses AND a head to head loss against Eazy, which is only possible because of how we score 5-0 victories, which usually only come about because of error or injury - it's very rare for teams to play the exact same positions and one team actually win all of the categories. I think we should definitely keep the points-based system - I think it encourages weekly engagement for matchups that aren't your own - I know many of us PM behind the scenes re the weekly matchup, but I'd vote that 4-1 and 5-0 victories are both awarded 3 points.
