"For AVCA All-Region and All-America Awards purposes, the AVCA Top 100 Teams are institutions that have been listed in the top 100 of the three most recent RichKern.com/AVCA RKPI, Pablo, and RPI rankings; AVCA Top 50 Teams are institutions that have been listed in the top 50 of the three most recent RichKern.com/AVCA RKPI, Pablo, and RPI rankings. In the event of a tie for the final spots on each list, the team with the highest average ranking across all 9 lists would be included." huh.... Boise State - Pablo - 60, RPI/RKPI - 78 TCU - Pablo - 98, RPI/RKPI - 130 Maybe someone was drunk when they made this list? the memo was dated November 17. So I assume it was the most previous ranking. |

So I assume it was the most previous ranking. I suppose. Like the NCAA selection committee, I guess we shouldn't expect a season ending ranking/list to actually encompass a full season. Lets just end it a week or two early! why not.... |

I just assumed Boise St would be on the list because they were so good last year... I don't get Lauren Ohlinger now.. Now I'm mad and we haven't even started drafting yet. Who made up these dumb eligibility rules? FWIW, I like Top 100 vs. only specific conferences like it used to be. Top 100 pablo would be interesting too, I haven't compared how many different teams that would be. For the future, another idea could be to have 'admin specials' or even 'league voter specials'. Like if there is a team who is hyped up for the upcoming Fall or had a key injury/returner that makes them way better prospects than the year prior, maybe they can be single handedly picked (sort of like the bottom P5 teams getting an add on). I also floated around an idea in the past that there be a 'wildcard' rule where someone can choose ONE player from any team in the country and have them on their fantasy roster even if they don't meet the team/conference requirements. We actually voted on it and it barely got turned down. I thought it would be cool for those who really wanted one specific player from an ineligible team. |

Like I've said.. I'm no expert but Igiede is not even in my top 3 middles. depends on what you want in a middle, I guess. She's in my top 5. Sadly, I think the second best fantasy middle for 2022 isn't even eligible to be drafted (O. Ofoegbu - UCI). I'm still trying to figure out how these top 100 lists are made. Some of the teams on it had abysmal 2021 records, and there are teams in solid conferences with winning records that were left off. Is it just me, or is the ideal fantasy middle, like, really hard to find? Like, is ~3 kps, ~1.3 bps, and ~0.25 saps asking too much? Lol. |

Igiede averaged 13 attacks per set in the match vs Pepperdine. It tells me that the connection between Lang and her is pretty damn good. As bad as the passing was in that match she still found a way to get her the ball. I'd imagine Igiede might be closer to 4 kills a set. If she's not a top 2 fantasy middle then who is then?

If she's not a top 2 fantasy middle then who is then? 13 attempts while playing 6 rotations through the front row means more like 6.5 attempts per set. Attempts do not mean a connection is good. Bad passing is not a good sign for a consistent fantasy producing middle. Like has been said, people don't want to give away their top middle prospects so you can just wait and see where she falls during the draft. |

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to enjoy watching this from the sidelines. Maybe a season off will inspire me to rejoin. It was just always too much to keep up with. Especially since madden was lazy and always asked me to do his stats…
