I've been told some coaches have held 2024 scholarship offers pending what might be in the portal, so I know these could certainly change, but I found this interesting. South Dakota at #5. Also will be interesting if when the dust settles, if all the Gopher commits stay and if any Washington commits end up in Minneapolis. Washington at 3rd??? That's absurd lol We only have two commits in Haury and Hunt.

She is really good, so either will be lucky to have her.

I would classify your statement as "many" schools were hedging on being able to capitalize on the portal. For many schools, that did not happen and they will have to scramble.

She is really good, so either will be licky to have her. Does Minnesota have a scholarship for her? From what I heard, Keegan worked really hard to get her to commit to Washington, so I would not be surprised if Julia wants to follow him.

I'm pretty sure Minnesota will have a scholarship for a middle in 2024. That being said, there is no indication that she is reopening her recruitment.

I don't think its an assumption. Quite of few of the committed '24's that I know did not get 4 year offers. I think the other posters are speaking from experience. This ⬆️ Who are the ones you know that did not get 4 year offers?

Who are the ones you know that did not get 4 year offers? 4 of the Commits that I know personally all got 4 year offers...I realize that's a small sample size.

Do you mean they expeced to get 2+ year kids from the portal this year? There's still a May window and next year to offer transfers money for Fall 2024.

There's still a May window and next year to offer transfers money for Fall 2024. What I mean is, quite a few schools expected or planned on picking up current needs in the portal. The portal pool did not end up being what many of these schools expected or they overestimated what they could actually get, which paused recruiting. Schools froze recruiting until they had a clear picture of what they will potentially need in the future (understandably so). Those that did not get what they need will now have to move the puzzle pieces and bet on HS players for the future. (in most instances) The big dogs will always eat.

Well, with the recent trend of PV, the rankings will fluctuate after schools pick up recruits. I am anticipating a massive wave of 2024 recruiting in the spring now that programs know what their needs are after the portal closes on the 11th (of course there will also be a May session as well). Prepvolleyball really has no idea where most of these kids actually rank. The rankings fluctute and go up massively AFTER a school picks up a recruit. Expect massive changes to this list over the next few months especially end of April as the club season slows a bit.

Actually they are attached to their committed school if they are ranked. The master committed list will update in a few weeks with the updated rankings that are being done this month.
