This is where Hawaii misses Helvig. She, Igiede, Westerberg, Akana, Wagoner were Robyn's first full recruiting class and I wanted to see their development as individual players and how this team would have been. Then Fkn covid hit.... Well, that's enough dwelling on shoulda, coulda, neva! Couldn’t agree more, Helvig coulda, woulda, shouldas live in my mind rent free lol Yeah, now Covid is nothing more than a common cold. Had it last month. A slight fever and some body aches but other than that nothing else. Stocked up on Poweraid and chicken soup and a few days rest. Now I'm back to normal. What's the big deal. |

It’s one of those once in a century situations where a super contagious virus that has a variety of varying effects on people and no set method of treatment/prevention. It had to be done. However, the Big West definitely dropped the ball on canceling the season. Hawaii just had to be THAT unlucky having the associate coach and our top recruit both be from Sweden and how differently each country handled the virus but both having relatively similar results. It is what it is |

It is what it is Yeah, and it didn't work cause once they reopened Hawaii from all the lock downs and tourist started coming, BOOM Covid infections went through the roof. My good friend in Hawaii who's a doc and head of Queens hospital infectious diseases said it's not if you'll get Covid but when you'll get it. Everyone will get it even if you're vaxed. |
