Bergman is POTY type material. My only concern is she took A LOT of swings this summer. I worry about her arm getting burnt out by October if they dont use their balance. She spent the summer swinging against blocks put up by USA, Turkey, China, Italy...fascinated to know how blocks from ND, BC, UNC, Syr, et al. will appear to her this season  Kind of like going to bat against Degrom, Scherzer, Verlander then heading back to Oklahoma or South Dakota State. |

No doubt she will be very well ready for any high level comp....just hoping her arm doesnt get spent. Otene should help but we all know tendencies are for GT to set Bergman a lot. |

Neither setter had a great connection with her in the scrimmage... so it will be interesting. It's still Logan's to lose. Drewnick played better defense than D'Amico... but setting is just hit and miss. I think #10 won the job today. Tech's offense was really humming in the 2nd set with her on the floor. Coach tried to let the backup finish the set, but Carolina made a run. After a timeout, #10 back went back in and closed the set out. |

I don't know if the hexagons are a "new thing" this year for many schools but for GT, they've had this design on the football helmet for years since you know, they are yellow jackets (bee, honeycomb)... and looks to be that the honeycomb design was finally extended to volleyball uni this season. Will have to see if they have been applied to other sports as well, like track.
