The cross court shots from the left side seem to have better pace than last season.
Holding the opponent to negative hitting percentage is never bad.
Kenna's back sets are a thing of beauty.

Lauenstein is well on her way to locking down that right side. You can tell she has been working hard for that spot I really hope she earns it. The more playing time she gets the more confidence she will build. Her and Orr really have a great connection. Helps having a setter that can consistently set back to you also. |

Did Orr beat out Hames to set or is Hames just not setting this year? Combination of a few things. Lots of talk of a role change for Hames this season since the beginning of the year. Kennedi was recruited to be the starting setter and Nicklin got 4 years. The Akana departure increased the likelihood of this happening, as Cook was left with a hole at DS for the opposite. Hames is an elite defender. He said they feel Nicklin slotting in there and Kennedi setting gives them the best potential team. |
