n00b gbuttah jaypak - ya'll are all in for the tiebreaker for the NCAA tournament. Here's a reminder of the tiebreaker rules (note that team picks reset for the tourney & you cannot pick the same team twice): 1. Pick 8/32 first-round matches & choose a winner. If you survive, move on to #2. ( gbuttah & jaypak will need to pick 12 since you missed last week) 2. Select 2/8 Sweet 16 matches & select a winner. If you survive, move on to #3. 3. Select 1/4 Elite 8 matches & pick a winner. If you survive, move on to #4. 4. Choose 1/2 Final 4 matches & pick a winner. If you survive, move on to #5. 5. Choose the total combined points score for the championship match. Closest to the actual total will win. If there is a tie, the "award" will be shared. You'll be picking a total of 12 winners (16 for gbuttah & jaypak ). If you have no options of teams left to pick, you will be eliminated. If the last standing are eliminated on the same tiebreaker, the person who misses the smallest percentage of picks in the respective tiebreaker will win. If multiple people miss the same percentage of picks, then they will continue on to the next tiebreaker as the decider. Edit: These picks are due on Thursday at 3:30pm CT. If you miss the deadline, you're automatically eliminated.

Congratulations n00b, a worthy champion! Thank you vballfan17 for running the contest. Many of the first-year questions worked themselves out. My suggestions for next year would be: 3 picks/week till after Labor Day 5 picks from mid-September through mid-October 10 picks from then till the end 1 skip only, which must be made up the following week, until 10 (or 8) contestants remain, then no skips allowed. But I would extend the deadline to where you can pick anytime as long as picks are submitted before your earliest match starts. No repeating winners until NCAA Tournament tiebreaker but you can repeat losers. D1 games only (both teams). Conference tournaments pickable with winner-only needing to be specified.

Thanks for the feedback. And yes, I have plenty of notes for next year's contest rules. Appreciate your participation and flexibility over this first year and all of the kinks to be worked out with a lot of unknown factors.
