15-13 Wisconsin. I thought Wisconsin had a chance to create some separation there. BTW, this is my first look at the new TCU arena. It’s impressive in terms of as a facility. The previous one could produce a heck of an atmosphere in a high school gymnasium sort of way, but this is so much nicer. The floor isn’t as distracting as I thought it would be based on comments. At least from this feed. But then everything is blurry already. |

Our biggest liability today is serving and right behind backrow play. Setting has been good enough to put down a lot of kills. The reason why we on the ropes is the backcourt as both teams have struggled in the serving game.

Honestly I think this says more about the badgers. They are not playing that well. Or grabbing situations at the end of sets. What I’m seeing of this Baylor team on this mediocre feed (that I’m extremely grateful for!) in my limited time viewing them doesn’t begin to compare to last year’s team. But I like what I’ve seen of Carlson. A lot. They just don’t have a Skinner or Pressley out there. A team full of 5th years and seniors to a team of mostly freshmen and sophomores… of course they’re not gonna compare in the second match of their season/career. Let’s not discredit the effort that these young players have been putting in against two top 5 teams in a row. |

But I’m sitting here looking at a buffering symbol on my screen, followed by an arbitrary fast forward in the action. I am simultaneously appreciative of the feed and whoever is generously providing it, while also frustrated a match of this magnitude with big time implications on the rest of the season is not being presented in a more professional manner. If I could wash the feet of the person behind the camera I would, while at the same time join in a stoning of the people who conspired to keep this off the air, that would be the dream. |
