The win today is consistent with what the Preseason Coaches poll predicted in the Pac 12. It had WSU placed above Oregon. The coaches got it right. Now let's see how things work out against Cal and Stanford at home.

WSU should be #4 this week with Louisville and Florida losing to unranked teams. whether they will be is a different question. Maybe, but WSU has that pesky little issue of getting spanked pretty good in 3 head to head with Louisville. That was early, but it was also pretty decisive. If you forgive that because it was early, then there are a lot of other early bumps that would have to be excused as well, and everything gets really messy. |
